Seeking Physician – Medication Management & IM Primary Care

It is my pleasure to announce a Mercy Health employed medication management & internal medicine opportunity with Mercy Health in Lima, Ohio.  We are seeking a physician with the patience and passion to serve these patients. 

Position Highlights:

• Medication management, addiction medicine and internal medicine primary care.
• Experience prescribing Suboxone is highly preferred.
• Social worker in office to assist patients.
• Two experienced nurse practitioners.
• Must have a strong commitment to being a part of a cohesive team.
• Office open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM and 8 AM to noon on Friday allowing for administrative time in the afternoon.
• 25+ patients per day, ages 18 and above.
• Call schedule of 1:6 on a 1-week rotation beginning on Wednesday at 7 AM to Wednesday at 7 AM.
• Telemedicine – video visits.
• Order medications, treatments, labs, etc. as described and permitted under the Ohio State Medical Board and Mercy Health St. Rita’s Credentialing Board.
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Teach Residents. (Mercy Health Lima has IM, FM, and EM Residency Programs)

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with Ohio Medical License or willingness to obtain Ohio License
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
