Position Overview:

The Technical Controls Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of our technical operations. This role requires a strong understanding of SQL and database management, as well as the ability to analyze and improve our current processes.

Responsibilities:

Control System Development:

• Design and develop control systems to monitor and manage our technical operations.
• Implement automated controls to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure all control systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations.

SQL and Database Management:

• Utilize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Manage and maintain database systems to ensure data integrity and security.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for performance and accuracy.

Process Improvement:

• Analyze existing control processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement enhancements to increase operational efficiency and reduce risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new controls.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Monitor control systems to detect and respond to anomalies or security threats.
• Generate regular reports on system performance and control effectiveness.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure all control systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of control systems and procedures.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to technical controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical controls or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with control system design and implementation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
