Selection Associate

Since 2004, New Energy Nexus has mobilized $3.7 billion in investment and supported over 1200 clean energy startups to date.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Selection Associate to support New Energy Nexus to find and recruit global climate tech startups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focused on facilitating climate tech startups throughout the selection process and ensure they are fully qualified to move to the next round of selection.
• Support the Program Manager and team to identify, support and deliver value to the startups.
• This is a short term contract (4 months) based in Abu Dhabi with the possibility of extension.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Environmental Sciences).
• Must have proven experience working in UAE or the Middle East.
• Proven experience in program management and startup ecosystem development.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities.
• Knowledge of the climate tech sector and key ecosystem players
• The Selection Associate must be physically based in Abu Dhabi.
