Job Summary

As a Senior Backend .NET Developer on the SalesX Team, you will lead a dynamic team of developers and forge the technical road map for the entire program. Our SalesX team strives to simplify our sales experience by providing the right information, to the right person, at the right time. On this team, you will not only be an evangelist for the technology and tools that your business partners rely on, but you will also be exposed to the most cutting-edge industry solutions.

Job Description

Backend .NET Developers are positioned between the Front End React Development Team, the Quality Assurance Team and the AWS Infrastructure Team. We work with all aspects of the Comcast Business technology organization as well as collaborating with our Sales Operations counterparts. We're a group of experienced technical minds who are the last word when it comes to solving exciting problems with innovative technical solutions.

Success in this role is characterized by delivering highly functional and customer impacting experiences that drive increased sales and a better customer experience.

Here are some of the specific technologies we use and what you'll bring:

  • 6+ years' proven experience developing software using Microsoft .NET Core, preferably C#
  • Proficiency in the following general areas: JavaScript, React and/or Angular
  • Design and implement Web Services (REST and SOAP based).
  • Cloud technology experience with AWS or similar
  • Experience in CI/CD deployments and build jobs using Concourse.
  • Build and customize alerting/monitoring systems.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in Logstash, Kibana.

What You'll Do:

  • Working in Agile environment with Agile team and participate in story refinement, crafting and estimating story tasks.
  • Produce technical designs and documentation; and participate semi-annual Lab Weeks, and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Work with architects, developers, and QA throughout the organization to seek opportunities for demonstrating automation.
  • Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures, and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior level Software Engineers.
  • Participate in release deployment, solving and triaging.
  • Open to learning new things, bringing new ideas and innovate
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
