Senior .NET Backend Engineer (Integrations Team)

Headquartered in NYC and Tel-Aviv, Sauce wants restaurants to fulfill their highest potential, this means giving local establishments everything they need to connect directly with their customers. The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.

What You'll Do:

• Work with CTO and Tech Leaders to design and execute the rich product roadmap
• Develop new product features and support existing ones
• Mentor and support developers in implementing product requirements
• Perform code review and promote development best practices
• Take active role in architecture and design decisions

What You'll Bring:

• 8+ years of hands-on C#/.NET backend development experience in product companies
• Proven experience with e-commerce or adjacent fields projects
• Start-up mindset - “can do anything” approach, one man show
• Expert in API integrations with complex software projects
• High proficiency in working with non relational database (MongoDB)
• Strong understanding of scalable architecture design, microservices, serverless, etc.
• Experience with backend monitoring and performance measurement tools
• Team player with great communication skills
• Passionate about great designs, code quality, user experience and performance
• Good writing and verbal skills in English
• Would be a plus:
• Experience as Tech Lead/Architect/CTO from startup company
• Experience with POS integrations (Preferably Toast/Square/Clover)
• Experience with front-end development (React/Node.js)
• Experience with CI/CD (Preference to github/Azure)
• Experience with web scraping tools
• Experience with low code / no code development platform
• Sees the big picture and detail oriented
• Knows what to log and what not log
