CereCore is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our team in Nashville, TN. This individual will work at one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.
Overview:
This position sits within the Corporate Applications & Services department of our IT organization. This contract position will be responsible for .NET development for one of our construction programs. In this role, you will be responsible for .NET development, API mapping and bringing data in. This includes matching al data coming in from vendors for our hospital construction needs for hospitals and centers. The eBuilder application is a project management system for managing construction projects used by capital facility deployment groups. eBuilder application centralizes data, pricing and materials used for the purpose of trending and tracking construction builds. eBuilder is written in .NET framework and .NET core with SQL server backend. There is no front-end development for this role. In addition to API mapping, you will also be responsible for database procedures and database troubleshooting related to database slowness, performance hits, analyzing and troubleshooting stored procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use.
- Use Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported programming language (e.g., VB.NET, Visual C#). Serve as technical expert on development projects.
- Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
- Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
- Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
- Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
- 6+ years experience with .NET development, .NET frameworks, .NET core 3.1 or later, SQL server and database troubleshooting
- Recognized as advanced individual contributor
- Subject matter expert with additional experience and/or education in field.
- Conducts highly complex work critical to the organization.
- Works without supervision with extensive latitude for independent judgment. May assist less experienced peers.
- Typically requires 6+ years experience with .NET development
