Senior .NET Developer

We are looking for a highly proficient and seasoned Senior .NET Engineer to become part of our team. The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience in .NET development, a deep enthusiasm for technology, and the capability to offer technical guidance on projects. This position entails designing, developing, and sustaining top-notch software solutions, while promoting best practices and encouraging a collaborative atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentorship to the .NET engineering team.
• Make architectural decisions that align with best practices and company standards.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using .NET technologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.
• Engage in project planning, estimation, and tracking activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time while upholding high standards of quality and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

What You'll Need to Be Successful

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of software development experience with a primary focus on .NET technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of .NET and JavaScript development, using open-source frameworks and object-oriented programming.
• Familiar with test-driven development best practices and frameworks.
• Strong background in continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and associated frameworks.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including server infrastructure, .NET development tools, SQL Server RDBMS, SSRS, and PowerBI.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
