Role: Senior .Net Developer

Cognizant is looking for a Senior .Net Developer for developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Looking for a strong .Net developer with an ability to foresee the future trend and develop the application. Should also have a good communication and customer interaction abilities.
• Need to be flexible with timings.
• .Net 4.8 developer with 5-10 years of experience. Very strong NET fundamentals with prior experience in ASPNET & WCF.
• Must have exposure to React WebAPI .NetCore AWS PCF MongoDB and Strong OOPS fundamentals.
• Very proficient in SQL queries Beyond writing complex queries the candidate should also understand the performance implications and should be able to write optimized queries.
• Good analytical skills Must understand and implement complex requirements.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must have exposure to ReactJS or Node or .Net Core.
• Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks. Writing nonblocking code and resorting to advanced techniques such as multithreading when needed.
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform database API caching layer proxies and other web services used in the system.
• Must actively participate in all Agile ceremonies and can effectively guide the team at offshore.
