Senior .Net Engineer

With our integration solutions, we deliver a full international checkout experience, inclusive of local duties, taxes, fulfillment, and delivery management, along with global returns and payment processing capabilities.

Our hub locations are Dublin, Madrid and New York, and we are currently expanding our development hub in Madrid. As part of this initiative, we are looking for a number of Senior .NET Engineers. You should be passionate about technology and eager to learn and keen to stay challenged. Our technology strategy is based on the MACH principles of microservices, API first, cloud, and headless.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of product features, engaging in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and post-deployment monitoring and bug fixing.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of ESW's suite of e-commerce products as a valued member of a product team.
• Partner closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and QA Engineers within our dynamic development teams, demonstrating both autonomy and collaboration skills.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior and mid-level developers, encouraging their growth and development within the team.
• Take on ambitious tasks involving large-scale sophisticated applications and embrace Test Driven Development methodologies.
• Apply your expertise in .Net and Azure development stack to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial experience in Software Development.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science.
• Excellent knowledge of C#.
• Knowledge of UI development in Angular.
• Knowledge of development stack: C#, WebApi, .NET Core, Kafka, Kubernetes, Microservices, Cosmos DB, Azure.
• Experience in Domain Driven Design, software design patterns and modern SDLC methodology, such as CI/CD, testing and release approaches.
• Proficient in Test Driven Development working within an Agile SCRUM team. We use the agile methodology combined with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and passion for tackling tough problems.
