This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior 3D Technical Artist in Brazil.

This role is a high-impact opportunity for a versatile 3D technical artist who bridges the gap between artistic vision and real-time technical execution.
You will work across diverse projects involving game engines, immersive environments, simulations, and interactive experiences.
The position requires strong expertise in both organic and hard-surface modeling, with a focus on optimizing assets for performance and visual quality.
You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and artists to transform concepts into high-quality 3D assets and interactive experiences.
The role spans the full 3D production pipeline, from modeling and sculpting to lighting, shading, animation, and rendering.
You will also contribute to real-time optimization, VR/AR experiences, and cross-platform development workflows.
This is a hands-on creative and technical role where precision, efficiency, and artistic excellence come together.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with designers and artists to define project requirements, creative direction, and production timelines.
  • Create high-quality 3D assets, including both organic and hard-surface models, ensuring strong visual fidelity and design accuracy.
  • Sculpt, retopologize, and optimize meshes for real-time applications, simulations, and pre-rendered environments.
  • Develop prototypes and concept models to communicate ideas, workflows, and design intent effectively.
  • UV map, texture, and develop materials and shaders for diverse real-time and offline rendering pipelines.
  • Work across lighting, animation, particle effects, and simulations to enhance visual storytelling and scene quality.
  • Perform performance profiling and optimization to ensure stability, frame rate consistency, and platform compatibility.
  • Integrate assets into game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, and Omniverse, adapting to evolving pipelines.
  • Support rigging and skinning workflows when required for character animation and deformation.
  • Render high-quality stills and animations, including post-processing and final visual polishing.
  • Ensure overall quality control across all 3D assets and deliverables.
  • Mentor junior artists and provide feedback to elevate team output and consistency.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a 3D technical artist or generalist with strong expertise in modeling, sculpting, and real-time asset integration.
    • Strong understanding of both organic and hard-surface modeling techniques.
    • Experience working with multiple file formats such as OBJ, FBX, CAD, USD, and proprietary pipelines.
    • Solid experience preparing and optimizing assets for engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, and Omniverse.
    • Strong knowledge of real-time rendering pipelines, optimization techniques, and cross-platform development constraints.
    • Proficiency with tools such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D.
    • Advanced skills in ZBrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Substance Sampler.
    • Experience with UV mapping, texture atlasing, and material/shader creation.
    • Familiarity with Marvelous Designer or Clo3D, as well as Adobe tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Experience with animation pipelines, including rigging and skinning workflows.
    • Knowledge of After Effects and Premiere for post-production workflows is a plus.
    • Experience with VR/AR projects and interactive 3D environments is highly valued.
    • Houdini experience is strongly preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail, artistic sensibility, and ability to work across fast-moving production environments.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to mentor junior team members.
