We are looking for a dynamic VMware Services Account Executive to join our team and drive sales of VMware third-party support (“3PS”) maintenance services. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their VMWare maintenance needs, and effectively selling VMware 3PS maintenance services to meet those needs, including implementation, migration, and support services, to clients across various industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients who can benefit from VMware 3PS services.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate VMware 3PS service solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and net new clients to promote additional VMware services.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to provide clients with comprehensive VMware 3PS service proposals.
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth of the VMware services business.
  • Keep abreast of VMware products and services to provide clients with up-to-date information.
  • Develop and maintain necessary opportunity pipeline to support sales quota performance expectations
  • Contribute to the marketing team ideas, and constructive suggestions for new approaches 
  • Account manage any corporate or commercial terms/issues
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of a proven track record in sales, particularly in IT services related to VMware, Data Center and network
  • Strong knowledge of VMware products and maintenance services
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel
