Job Description
Tomorrow.io's Sales Team makes it possible for weather-sensitive industries and other forward-thinking businesses to operate faster than the speed of weather. We work closely with organizations like Delta, JetBlue, United, along with Tesla, Ford, Uber, and the U.S. Air Force. Starting in early 2023, we are launching a first-of-its-kind and planet-blanketing constellation of weather satellites that will disrupt the aviation weather market worldwide!
We are hiring for this role in Boston, MA. Though we are a hybrid work environment, where people are able to work from home, we love to see people in our Seaport office regularly!
We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive for Aviation to lead prospective and existing Aviation- focused customers through a journey to uncover business opportunities by using our SaaS and API products.
In this role you’ll identify, engage and close new Aviation customers while retaining and growing existing accounts. You will work closely with our product, marketing, and engineering teams to provide feedback.
What you bring:
- Enterprise Sales Experience: Minimum 5 years selling to executive-level decision makers
- Experience selling technology solutions to the aviation industry; we have a preference for those that have sold data solutions to the aviation industry
- Experience working at an ambitious, growth-stage tech company
- Comfort and willingness to prospect for new business
- Self-motivated and competitive, with a can-do attitude
- Solution Based Selling Experience; comfort with MEDDPIC or similar
- A clear record of quota achievement and metrics-driven approach to prospecting and managing pipeline through to a successful close
- Experience selling disruptive, first-to-market tech (preferably SaaS, IOT or API-based)
