Senior Account Executive, Consumer Lifestyle

Small Girls PR is growing and we are looking for a Senior Account Executive within our fast growing west coast office focusing on a range of exciting consumer brands across the fashion, tech, fitness, parenting and lifestyle spaces! 

There is no one-size-fits-all for an SGPR client which means your career will be further enriched with meaningful and diversified experience. We've handled mergers for GE, announced Esusu as one of the first Black-owned tech unicorns, created a closet calculator to see how recycled clothing impacts the environment with thredUP, and this team specifically tapped the Green M&M as Zappos’ newest “shoefluencer” ahead of the Super Bowl, when M&M’s spokescandies were put on hiatus. 

With 3-5+ years of experience, the Senior Account Executive has developed strong media relationships and has a track record of success securing meaningful placements. This role will support higher-level client communications for projects, lead call and meeting efforts for the group and participate in strategy discussions both behind-the-scenes and with the client.

Note: Small Girls PR is currently in the office on a hybrid basis, working two days a week in the office. 

How you’ll make an impact:

• Work along-side client leads to contribute ideas towards viral campaign moments, and then bring them to life
• Craft creative pitch angles that position clients uniquely from their competitor set and yield 20 - 100 placements per campaign idea
• Write pitches, fact sheets, media briefs, press releases and more with ease to provide media everything they need to garner killer coverage
• Establish and maintain warm relationships with consumer media in print, digital, podcast, and broadcast, leading to regular placements as well as feature stories 
• Help us develop strategies and relationships to earn placements in social media channels, like Hypebeast’s TikTok or Purewow’s Instagram
• Mentor our strong and capable junior team, helping them flourish into future leaders
