After starting our cooperation you can expect following tasks and responsibilities:

o Coordination and driving sales (services and system solutions) across Canada

o Prospect development (50%+ of the role)

o Identification and qualification of new opportunities and customers

o Building and maintaining relationships with Engineering and Procurement teams

o Cooperation with engineering teams to create and review customer proposals

o Seek and respond to RFI/RFQ/RFP issued by targeted customers

o Maintaining sales opportunities reporting through salesforce.com

You are the right candidate if you have:

o Sales/Business Development experience within the Communications industry - preferably engineering services (not final products)

o Experience with communication with design engineers

o Degree in electrical engineering or business administration

o Willingness to travel across Canadian Region

Following will be your key responsibilitiesProspects development (70%+ of role)Research and build/enhance relationships with prospectsIdentify decision-makers within the customers organisation.Set up and lead meetings with customers decision-makers (supported by relevant company staff when relevant)Plan approaches and pitchesWork with the Group functions and the relevant business units to develop proposals that meet the customers needs, concerns, and objectives.Present existing and new propositions (products and services) to targeted customers

Respond to RFQs issued by targeted customers

Arrange and participate in internal and external customer briefs and debriefsAttend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends.Customer handlingIdentify and record opportunities that will lead to an increase in sales developing a robust pipeline of opportunities (meet potential customers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging contacts).Using knowledge of the rail market and competitors support the development of the Groups unique selling propositionsAttend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends.Interact with customers for ongoing projects and act as local customer relationship manager throughout project executionRole requirements:Fluent in English&GermanInternational experience - e.g. either by working in an international environment or working in an international environmentGood analytical and communication skills, both in writing and orally (e.g. for customer presentations, mailing,)Readiness to travel in Europe (app. 50% of the time) and potentially to India occasionallyAbility to work in, act successfully in and leverage on a multicultural environmentStrong drive to meet & excel targetsTechnical interest/affinity, an additional technical background is an asset but not a mustProactiveness & flexibility

  • Manage all aspects of Cyient's relationship with the customer organization including communication streams, feedback loops, governance, etc.
  • Be the voice of the customer back to the organization to ensure expectations, desires, concerns, etc. are heard
  • Manage the expectation of the customer to ensure KPI's are agreed and consistently achieved
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of customer's industry and their end customers' needs through research, organizational memberships, industry publications and communication channels, etc.
  • Based on customer and industry understanding, seek opportunities to bring through leadership to the customer on a consistent basis
  • Target growth opportunities through various account management strategies such as cross-selling services, expansion in to new facilities, divisions, etc.
  • Ensure billing is accurate and in accordance with agreed rates/costs
  • Competency in Salesforce, MS Office, and sales processes
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • 10 years plus experience preferred.
