Senior Manager Key Account Manager- Communication Business: Location- preferably eastern part for USA

The communication business unit provides solutions and services to CSP's and other communication carriers globally. This business has grown over 30% year on year and has been investing in new technology areas to become a valued partner to its customers.

To support the growth and be the differentiator in the market space, we are seeking an experienced and seasoned Key Account Manager in our NAM communications group.

Role and Accountabilities:

Role

The position will be responsible for customer engagements in various key accounts that will be a Tier-1 or 2 telecommunication providers or other telecom accounts within the NAM region. The position will cover both existing and new opportunities spanning across communications services i.e., FTTx, OSS deployment, and network testing in the telecommunications industry segment. Your key accountability will be to deliver monthly & quarterly business results, while ensuring we position our new services and solutions to grow revenue in the accounts.

Experience selling to Tier 1 & 2 providers is preferred.

This position will report to the NAM Director of Sales - Communications.

Key Accountabilities.

  • Lead the development and execution of key account vision and strategy
  • Develop account executive relationships to drive a win-win strategy for client
  • Drive big deal opportunities within the accounts
  • Lead the overall sales management process and execution within the key accounts.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly order input and revenue for each account
  • Implement new initiatives to position solutions and services to support account(s) business strategy.
  • Manage sales pipeline in Sales Force for all assigned accounts to generate revenue to achieve full year goals.
  • Lead Business Development, and RFP's while working with the bid response team for new business across all accounts

  • We are looking for a successful candidate who wants to join a team where they can deliver success and influence the strategy for various accounts. We want candidates who are excited about driving sales and can bring leadership to the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in telecommunications. This experience will ideally have been gained within a national technology business such as in IT or Engineering Services. Working knowledge of Contract T&C's, Pricing Models/ Outsourcing models, and 3rd Party Partnerships.

    In addition, the successful person will possess the following:
  • The ability to manage growth and change in a large fast-paced organization
  • Deep experience of telecommunication markets and relevant industry experience around the type of work and services Cyient offers.
  • Has driven new technological initiatives with the carriers, developed market plans, supported customers with SMEs, and developed strategy to support customers objectives
  • Experience of managing strategic change and bringing new services and solutions to market.

We would expect the successful candidate to have a college-level-degree education and to be a member/fellow of at least one relevant industry body.
