Senior Account Manager-Higher Ed
Job Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities;
- Develop solution sales strategies to expand the LG Electronics DVLED digital signage market share within the Higher Education vertical
- Participation in the design and execution of the go-to-market strategy with regular tracking and reporting
- Accountable for achieving assigned sales revenue & profitability targets quarterly & annually
- Weekly observation of pipeline trends with corrective actions and reporting to achieve goals
- Managing forecast accuracy and managing product delivery goals with Product Management
- Continuous internal reporting including end-user challenges, market information and customer key request
- Develop tactics to grow LG market share for large and complex customer businesses through customer relationship management, understanding their opportunities and challenges and developing a business plan that will achieve a win-win for both the customer and LG
- Execute sales strategy and monitor customer performance. Review performance data with customers to influence buying and advertising decisions
- Liaise with internal groups to provide voice of the customer, expand offerings, plan effective forecasts, product delivery and in-store feedback (i.e., Brand Marketing, Pricing, Promotions and Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Regional Training Managers)
- Maintain brand and product knowledge through formal and informal product training, review of product roadmaps and competitive intelligence
- Manage schedule and handle administrative tasks with support from Inside Sales team
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor Degree is required in a technical subject or equivalent work experience, MBA Preferred
- Minimum of 8 years experience in sales preferably in the large Distributor/Technology Industry (preferred experience in either TV display or solution area of digital signage)
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to travel 50% throughout the U.S
- Strong understanding of project and product specifications
- Working knowledge of the unique Audio Visual and DVLED applications designed and developed in Higher Education settings
- Knowledge in all MS Office Applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent Communication Skills and Presentation skills
- Initiative and ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Proven technical skills and customer facing sales capabilities
- Strong relationship builder,
- Outstanding communications skills,
- Solid business acumen and thought leadership in sales, marketing, operations, finance and account P&L.
Base Compensation range for this position is $100,000-$125,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional elements include bonus and full schedule of Corp benefits
