Senior Account Manager (Innvictis Seed Solutions)

Summary
This role will work with Crop Advisors, Market Managers, and Regional Sales Managers to develop and implement collaborative approaches that maximize the usage of Innvictis' portfolio of seed. You will leverage a strong knowledge of the strategic direction and priorities of your account and dovetail those with Innvictis Seed Solutions through a yearly business planning process. This role will work with the local and divisional sales and leadership levels to develop and implement collaborative approaches that maximize the usage of Innvictis' portfolio of seed.
The highly preferred candidate with sit within the region this position supports (Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing programs, information, and tools that aid the selling effort in the field. This includes, but not limited to, seed marketing plan, estimate product demand, set sales goals, and manage seed product portfolio. Business planning is key.
- Influence, motivate, and strengthen relationships with field sales, local management, customers and industry. Promote Innvictis Seed products. Communicate with field sales and management regarding market activity. Evaluate effectiveness of field sales effort and identify areas for improvement. Work collaboratively with other Innvictis account managers with in the region.
- Serves as role model, teacher and coach to Crop Advisors and Market Managers, including direct sales and customer responsiveness in support of the Innvictis seed business. Identify customer and prospect opportunities and establish a plan to capitalize on these opportunities with Crop Advisors. Setting sales targets and tactical plans with Regional Business Leaders, Market Managers for each Crop Advisor. Lead seed sales by supporting Crop Advisors and direct sales efforts. Influencing and coaching are key to this role.
- Facilitates and schedules necessary product and program training for Crop Advisors to meet sales performance objectives. Facilitate and schedule seed and seed technology education and sales training for field sales personnel. Works together and independently of seed vendors to ensure field sales personnel are equipped with skills and product knowledge to be successful.
- Maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge in seed products and service in assigned area. Coach Crop Advisors to enhance seed selling activities. Lead efforts to differentiate Innvictis seed products and services from competitors and build relationships with customers.
Typical Education
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university (Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for meeting the minimum requirements)
Relevant Experience
- 5+ years related Seed experience and/or training
