Senior Account Relationship Manager (Payments)

BlueSnap is looking for a well-rounded, experienced, and enthusiastic Card Not Present (CNP) Payments Senior Account Relationship Manager (SARM) who will work with our merchant accounts. The SARM will foster a strong business relationship from Implementation forward, driving customer satisfaction, and revenues associated with online payment and merchant support. As a SARM, you will establish a consultative relationship with your merchants, understand their business, and identify opportunities through demonstrating an in-depth understanding of both the merchant and BlueSnap business values to ensure business growth. This thorough understanding of the customer and global payments will also help you advocate internally for the client while being able to answer team members’ questions about the customer’s business model, plans, and what to expect from the client.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Establish yourself as a payments consultant who is dedicated to deliver maximum value to your portfolio and engage in frequent informal and formal dialogue (on-site/phone/email/IM)
- Coordinate and assist with client implementations and engage resources as needed to resolve service issues
- Create relationships with day-to-day account contacts and identify and build C-level contacts to ensure trust, confidence, loyalty and mutual benefit
- Have an expectation of each business’ direction and regularly monitor key business metrics for consistency with this expectation
- Work with your clients to understand and help accounts meet their goals through strong relationship building, product consultation, retention plans, and cross sell programs
- Identify value-based opportunities and close business to increase BlueSnap’s share of processing from account business
- Facilitate product adoption through effective needs-based selling
- Partner with BlueSnap Marketing to develop case study scenarios based on account success and ensure account is referenceable
- Monitor account activity and review the value of services provided to recommend needs-based sells
Requirements/Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of experience in card not present payments with direct client facing relationships, managing larger accounts with a successful track-record of increasing customer satisfaction
- Previous experience working in either a payment processing or ecommerce acquiring platform
- Exceptional communication, analytical, quantitative, and facilitation skills
- Self-driven and passionate;Â always looking to excel and improve performance
- Constantly looking to improve the way things are done
- Experience and desire for a fast-paced environment where cross-functional collaboration and self-reliance are essential to accomplishing goals and objectives
- Great team player
- Project Management experience a plus
- FinTech experience a plus
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
