Abrigo is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations. This position will manage areas including, but not limited to, cash flow, budgeting and financial reporting. The primary responsibility of this position will be to support initiatives and plans for financial health, while aligning with our core values and culture. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and driven. This role will report to the Accounting Manager. This position will be based in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, or remotely.

What You'll Do:

• Record monthly journal entries and assist in the month-end close process
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
• Assist with the completion of the monthly reporting package
• Maintain and monitor accounts receivable ledger and metrics
• Ensure controls are in place to prevent material misstatement of results
• Interact with and assist internal and external auditors to complete audit requests
• Assist with the integration of acquired entities, as needed
• Completing ad-hoc reporting requests and special projects as assigned

You You'll Need:

• BA/BS in Accounting, and at least 3 years of accounting experience
• Big 4 Accounting experience preferred
• CPA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles, GAAP standards
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel
• Ability to identify issues and resolve problems independently
• Strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
• Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
