Senior Accountant

Role & Responsibilities

• Contribute significantly to key operational accounting functions, such as monthly financial close, revenue, and tax compliance
• Assist in year-end audit and other statutory/compliance filings
• Team with Director of Finance to enhance key accounting processes and controls, such as inventory, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Assist with the ERP implementation process, including design, implementation and documentation of financial controls, policies, and procedures
• Proactively identify issues and areas for improvement
• Assist CFO and Director of Finance in other areas as needed

Professional Qualifications

Need to have:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Nice to have:

• CPA License
• Cost accounting / inventory accounting experience
• Experience with ERP software migrations (e.g. Netsuite, Sage Intacct)
• Technical accounting knowledge and a command of GAAP
• Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to recommend, develop, and document policies, processes, and procedures for a rapidly growing company
