They manage accounting and reporting for Nike's multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Provide subject matter expertise for global innovation & sourcing controlling close and reporting activities and deliverables to ensure complete and accurate financial statements. Drive optimization through enhanced business processes and a strengthened controls framework. Support the business by providing expertise to business partners and the assessment of new and changing business strategies. Accelerate the function through the development and deployment of innovation & sourcing controlling strategic priorities. Serve as a key resource to the larger NIKE finance and controlling organization to develop, embrace and deliver Nike best practices. Drive the global accounting for local for local sourcing and manufacturing, including assessment of arrangements with factories and the related accounting impacts. Manage documentation of excess raw materials program and materials volume commitments. Oversee contract review processes within global innovation & sourcing controlling, including providing expertise in the supping of contracts identified for review and ensuring relevant contracts are reviewed and assessed for accounting impacts during the period.

Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include:

  • Managing, coordinating and executing accounting projects
  • U.S. GAAP
  • SAP Accounting
  • Strong business partnership
  • Inventory/Supply Chain accounting background
  • Local for local sourcing and manufacturing accounting
