Behold! We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at our office in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager and Director in preparing and reviewing accounting records within a regulated environment.
What You Will Do:

• Create journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by accountants
• Responsible to create and maintain monthly detailed complex spreadsheets
• Knowledge of SOX to prepare schedules for testing
• Preparation of accounting records as required, including detailed summaries of required accounting entries in support of internal or external needs
• Preparation of cashbook records, including reconciliations
• Review of cashbook records, including reconciliations and identifying variances to investigate
• Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analysing and investigating variances; summarizing data, and information.
• Support in training new accountants
• Prepared to meet with regulatory bodies, internal auditors, and external auditors regarding processes.
• Accomplishes finance and organization mission by compliance with all regulations
• Prepared to cover for and support their colleagues when required
• Build team collaboration and work as cohesive unit
• Lead and coach your direct reports. Meeting with them individually at least once a month.

What You Will Need:

• 2 - 4 years of gaming accounting experience
• Degree in Accounting or related field a huge plus
• Understands finance and has experience working in an accounting function
• Experience with office work, preferably in a sports betting company
• Diligent and with an eye for detail
• Advanced MS Excel skills, macro knowledge a plus
• Working knowledge of Oracle accounting software a plus
• Ability to work independently
• High Accuracy
• Ability to demonstrate initiative
• Aware of regulations to adhere to for compliance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for extended periods
• Must be able to type and talk on the phone for extended periods
• Regular attendance in the office
