Senior Accountant

The WelbeHealth Senior Accountant will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying all financial transactions. The Senior Accountant focuses on maintaining general ledgers, preparing month-end close procedures, and assisting with interim and year-end financial audits.

Essential Job Duties:

· Compile and evaluate financial information to prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP

· Perform month-end general ledger account reconciliations, as well as investigate and resolve variances

· Prepare and review reconciliations for bank accounts, receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, right-of-use assets, lease liabilities (under ASC842 lease accounting), medical claims liabilities, IBNR, and other accrual accounts, debts, and equities

· Draft quarterly financial reports and debt covenants to be submitted to regulators, investors, and banks

· Assist with interim and year-end financial audits

· Assist with drafting and updating corporate accounting manual and desk procedures

· Research and implement technical accounting guidance and initiatives to improve

accounting and financial reporting controls and processes

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or relevant field

· CPA required

· Minimum of three (3) years of general or public accounting experience

· Public accounting experience

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $ 91,670.00 $114,588.00 + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
