Senior Accountant

DUTIES: Responsible for performing the day-to-day processing and maintaining of the general accounting including month-end close.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Perform various accounting duties throughout the month, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, reports, in areas that are generally more complex in nature and requires a more advanced understanding and application of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Help evaluate, recommend, implement, and document new financial accounting policies, procedures, financial systems, and controls.
• Assist with annual financial statement audit.
• Assist the team to prepare reports for multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
• Provide support to finance management and internal customers as needs arise, including ad-hoc projects.
• Global consolidation.
• Manage subsidiaries’ financial operations. 

Minimum requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 5+ years of combination of public accounting/industry experience with emphasis on general accounting experience.
• Experience with working with external auditors.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Strong accounting/analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing priorities.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong practical knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office solutions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable prioritizing multiple work streams across daily responsibilities and long-term projects.
• Must be team-oriented; enjoys working with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Bill.com a plus

Expected Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
