Senior Accountant
Job Description
Job Position: Senior Accountant and Back Office Support
Location: Remote 2 days a week and 3 days on Site
Working Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Duration: Full-Time
Compensation: $72,000 to $104,000
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing of vendor invoices and payments
- Invoice Customers for Time and Labor or Milestone Billing and monitoring account receivables
- Communicating with the customer regarding collection issues
- Maintaining personnel records and time sheet processing for payroll
- Must have hands-on experience in payroll, billing, and accounts payable
- Back Office work
- Monitor and report Project Profitability
- • Assist in annual financial statements and work with CPA's
- • Monitor and advise management of any compliance issues
- • Support both business development and sales and marketing teams through customer reporting and project analysis
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
- • Lead projects and other duties and tasks as assigned
- Must work efficiently while paying close attention to details
Managing the receivables process, including incoming payments by preparing bank deposits, maintaining records, balancing financial information, verifying invoices, and updating the general ledger.
Requirements:
• BS in accounting or business administration
• 4-5 years of accounting experience desired
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Quick books and Payroll Online and Excel a plus
