Senior Accountant

Zenoti is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join its growing Finance team. This newly created position will report to the VP Finance and Controller at Zenoti’s global headquarters in Bellevue, WA.  The Senior Accountant will be responsible for participating and driving improvements in the month-end financial close process for Zenoti’s consolidated global operations.  In this role, tasks will include reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries and reports, researching variances, performing account analysis, maintaining accounting system data, and communicating with customers, vendors and other internal teams.

Responsibilities:

•    Contribute to the month-end close process to prepare timely, accurate financial data in compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies
•    Accurately reconcile accounts, summarize activity, and resolve reconciling differences appropriately
•    Perform accounting and control procedures related to accruals and other areas
•    Prepare monthly financial statements and detailed supporting schedules 
•    Prepare requested audit documentation and analyses
•    Collaborate with different functional teams to continue to develop accounting processes and actively contribute to a disciplined financial statement close
•    Provide local support to India-based billing, collections, and accounts payable teams as necessary
•    Analyze and recommend improvements to major systems, processes, or policies
•    Perform ad-hoc accounting projects as directed

Qualifications and Skills:

•    Bachelor's Degree and CPA (or commensurate public accounting experience) required
•    Strong technical and practical understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in the United States
•    SaaS or related technology industry experience preferred
•    Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
•    Demonstrated success operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
•    Experience working with NetSuite, Zuora, and Salesforce preferred
•    Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance preferred
•    Highly proficient manipulating and analyzing large quantities of data using Microsoft Excel
