Our success has led to continued expansion both in the range of services we offer and our global presence. We are now looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Accountant.

Essential Responsibilities 

Team Management & Development 

  • Day-to-day line management responsibility for 3 staff members 
  • Oversee, direct and help coordinate Management Accounts, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Acts as bank signatory, approving the first round of weekly payment runs.
  • Ensure compliance with Nucleus policies and procedures.

 Payroll & Benefits Accounting 

  • Responsible for reviewing bi-weekly payroll working with the payroll specialist/HR and ensuring this is committed in timely manner. 
  • Responsible for monthly reconciliation of all payroll and benefit related balance sheet accounts. 
  • Prepare the transfer from the company’s operating account to the flexible spending account for employee deductions each pay period.  Transfer should be approved by Finance Manager
  • Prepare the transfer for inter-company operating accounts for 401K deductions and match. Transfer should be approved by Finance Manager.
  • Posting monthly journals and ensuring all Control Accounts are reviewed monthly and dealing with any ad hoc queries. 

 Cash Management / Reconciliation of Accounts 

  • Post cash receipts to client accounts or other general ledger accounts as appropriate on a daily basis
  • Post book transfer and intercompany wire transfers 
  • Preparing weekly Cash Flow forecasts
  • Monthly review of all company credit cards.
  • Prepare detailed weekly cash forecasts and transmit to London per the corporate reporting timetable.  

 Monthly Closing 

  • Prepare month end journal entries. 
  • Review detailed general ledger monthly and prepares re-classes as appropriate. This includes reviewing P&L transactions for the appropriate class. Review and posts re-classes requested by FPA’s. 
  • Prepare debtors and creditors schedule monthly and ensure that it ties to reporting pack.
  • Preparing detailed variance analysis on all operating expenditure.

 General and Fixed Asset Accounting 

  • Maintain the monthly journal entry log by company. 
  • Responsible for reconciling the fixed asset spreadsheet to the General Ledger
  • Maintain fixed asset depreciation spreadsheet and post depreciation expense monthly to the General Ledger. 

 Education/Work Experience/Skills 

  • CPA preferred or studying towards a CPA.
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Three to four years accounting or finance experience or any appropriate combination of education and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.

$80,000$85,000 USD
