Job Description

• Fixed assets’ accounting – processing purchase documents, FA card creation, calculation of depreciation, balance reconciliation analytical books vs general ledger;
• Annual stock taking;
• Expense claim accounting – document processing, data entering, balance controlling;
• Business trip accounting;
• Bank payments processing;
• Purchase and sales invoice processing;
• Accounting and control of paid advances;
• Preparing of statistics reports for CSB;
• Preparation of tax payments (except payroll taxes);
• Monthly accruals preparation and posting for month closing;
• Monthly GL reclasses (payroll deductions & similar);
• Balance sheet accounts reconciliations (on monthly bases);
• Monthly closing procedures: ensuring that month is closed properly – necessary calculations are done and posted;
• Check customs documentation;
• Assistance in audits, providing all necessary documents and information, prepare reports required by auditors;
• Cooperation with tax authorities – consulting, managing disputes, other communication;
• Perform other duties, as asked by the manager, which are related to this position and which meet the qualifications;
• Replace colleagues during their vacations, sick leaves and other absences. Replacement takes place during working time, and it is not considered as additional work.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of proven experience in the field;
• Professional accounting education;
• Knowledge of English and Latvian language both written & spoken;
• Good knowledge of computer skills;
• High sense of responsibility;
• Data analysis skills with ability to produce reports;
• Ability to work independently and within a team;
• Accounting software Navision knowledge as an advantage;
• Excellent communication skills both written & spoken;
• Good organizational & administrative skills;
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
