Senior Accountant
Job Description
The Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and supports the Garlock Palmyra finance team in preparing and booking journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and reporting monthly financial results, plus other accounting tasks as assigned.

Essential Position Functions:
- Assist and support Garlock with month end reporting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and intra/intercompany accounts, reporting, and other areas, as assigned
- Review monthly department spend reports and investigate budget and other variances
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure Sarbanes Oxley and other internal controls are executed timely
- Completion of quarterly and annual reporting schedules for Enpro and/or Enpro's third party auditors
- Prepare and file sales and use tax report by due dates
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and others to identity and achieve best practices
- Support continuous improvement efforts and change to enhance efficiency and controls.
- Assist with special projects and backup other accounting team members when scheduling issues arise
- Assist with the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and recurring and special reporting, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
- 3 years of work experience in Accounting/Finance
- Computer skills including intermediate proficiency in Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems
- Internal Controls compliance experience
- CPA certification or progress towards certification

Enpro carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including the background, education, training, and experience required, as well as geographic considerations such as cost of labor, and applicable local and state laws. These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $76,000 - $102,000 annually. Actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Bonus, gainshare, and/or equity may be eligible for this position. Enpro offers a range of benefits including, but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) matching, and other supplemental insurance options.
