Senior Accountant

We have partnered with our client, located in Southwest Houston, in their search for several Senior Accountants to add to their team on a contract basis. The expected duration is at least 6 months with potential to extend or be considered for full time with the organization. This position will be working on a hybrid basis, in office 3 days and working remotely 3 days per week.

The positions will be involved in the month-end close process, preparation of journal entries and account analysis/reconciliations, recording intercompany journal entries, preparing schedules for internal management reporting and SEC disclosures, as well as assisting in department cost analysis and reporting. In addition, the positions will be supporting regional controllers in the monthly close process, developing and maintaining monthly reports for management, and performing other duties as requested.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 7+ years of Accounting related experience
• Internal Reporting, Consolidations, or strong GL accounting experience is required
• Flux analysis experience is preferred
• Recent SAP and HFM experience is required
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel
• Hands on month-end close experience
