Senior Accountant

Kiteworks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, along with exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.

What you'll do

• Lead the month end close process for multiple entities, review the GL details, and make necessary adjustments.
• Reconcile cash accounts and B/S accounts for multiple entities and resolve reconciling items.
• Manage intercompany transactions among multiple entities, book revaluation of intercompany balance and prepare the debit memos.
• Reconcile all the fixed assets accounts, prepare the fixed assets roll-forward and book the fixed assets adjustments.
• Review subsidiaries' financials and book the cost plus charges and the tax accruals.
• Prepare the allocations of cost center charges for multiple entities during close.
• Prepare the monthly financial package timely and accurately.
• Participate in multiple projects and undertake ad hoc projects and tasks as necessary.
• Prepare audit PBC items for multiple entities and coordinate team efforts to get audit items complete timely.
• Foster close collaboration with tax consultants to furnish requisite financial data for tax filings.

What you'll bring with you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with 5-7 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles, financial analysis techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
