TigerConnect is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This person is responsible for maintaining timely, accurate financial records and performing other day-to-day activities and ad hoc projects on the accounting team. He or she will assume ownership of a wide range of account reconciliations, financial closing activities, and other projects to support our financial close process. The candidate shall have an in-depth understanding of the financial statements and working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
This will be a hybrid position which will require 2-3 days per week in our Jacksonville, FL office.

TigerConnect is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. He or she will assume ownership of a wide range of account reconciliations, financial closing activities, and other projects to support our financial close process. The candidate shall have an in-depth understanding of the financial statements and working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

What You'll Do:
- Prepare account reconciliations and related journal entries
- Provide ownership of general ledger and department cost accounting and month-end close processes
- Inventory and construction accounting experience, as well as ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Manage and reconcile intercompany account balances with subsidiaries
- Conduct financial statements and fluctuation analyses
- Assist with internal financial reporting for senior management
- Develop business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls
- Participate in the preparation and process of the annual audit
- Take on ad-hoc projects across all accounting and finance teams/departments, including M&A accounting
- Draft accounting policies and procedures and standardize operation procedures
- Assist with employee onboarding trainings for accounts payable, payroll, expense reimbursements, etc.
- Change management focus - participate in exciting automation projects and other process improvements
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably a mix of public accounting audit and private industry accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business or economics major
- CPA license or equivalent qualification highly preferred, but not required
- Prior SaaS or tech industry, and/or healthcare and construction experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in general ledger ERP system either NetSuite, or Sage 300e is preferred
- Critical thinking and self-starter mentality/work with minimal supervision
- Ability to research and solve technical accounting issues - being able to conclude within GAAP framework and guidance is crucial
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and effectively manage projects to finish in accordance with established project plans and timelines
- Curiosity and thirst for knowledge and understanding of the business
- Collaborative mindset and strong ability to work within a team environment
How We Pay:
- We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to work experience, interview performance, internal equity, geography, and expected level of responsibilities
- We are targeting a base salary from $66,400 - $133,000
- You will also be able to participate in our annual corporate bonus program
