Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end close of the general ledger, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
• Perform and document internal controls over financial close and financial reporting.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and resolve issues
• Assist in month-end preparation of financial reporting packages for management and lenders
• Assist in preparation of annual financial statements
• Provide financial analysis to support business transactions and processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications 

• Solid Understanding of the accounting close process
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries and financial statement preparation
• Demonstrated experience with financial analysis
• Demonstrated knowledge of interview controls, with SOX experience a plus
• Process improvement driven mindset and desire to add value through problem solving
• Manufacturing industry experience or knowledge of cost accounting desirable, not essential
