Job Description
CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) companies to register Application-to-Person ("A2P") text messaging campaigns. We are an early-stage growth company with a dynamic environment helping build this growing market. Our products are both platform and API-based and address different stakeholders in the telecommunication/CPaaS market. TCR is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kaleyra, Inc. (NYSE: KLR).
We are seeking candidates in the Virginia/DC area, who could go in office once a week, open to fully remote in the East coast area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in processes and procedures related to internal controls in accordance with requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
- Gather income, expense, payroll and fixed assets documents and information to support tax return requests from internal tax team
- Assist the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings, including but not limited to the preparation of journal entries, treasury, and cash management
- Support customer inquiries on invoices and payments on day-to-day basis
- Assist with monthly revenue reconciliations and support preparation and delivery of invoices
- Partner with team members in support of internal and external auditors' requests in order to enable an effective and timely audit
- Follow policies, procedures and controls to facilitate timely, accurate and consistent reporting of financial results and ensure compliance with internal and external financial and legal reporting requirements
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant and progressive experience in accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Previous experience with internal and external auditors' requests
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or other large ERP system (including implementation)
- Experience in growth-stage technology companies
- Previous experience in a Big 4 or public accounting firm preferred
- CPA required
- Sox compliance experience
