Senior Accountant
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and associated schedules in compliance with GAAP and company policies to ensure accurate and timely month-end close process
- Complete monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including, but not limited to, cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, deferred revenue, and payroll
- Assist with processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reports, and billing
- Assist with tracking and calculating monthly sales commissions
- Prepare monthly financial variance analyses and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports/package
- Support external audit requirements and actively contribute to related team deliverables
- Participate in corporate compliance functions including audit, tax and other items as deemed necessary
- Perform timely follow up on outstanding issues, requests for information, and other research between departments and external parties
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years full-cycle accounting experience required
- CPA preferred
- Prior SaaS experience in an early stage/start-up environment preferred
- Public accounting foundation preferred
- Prior experience with a combination of the following: QuickBooks Online (QBO), NetSuite, Expensify, Bill.com.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize concurrent deliverables
- Experience with process improvement preferred

Compensation
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 total per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
