Job Title: Senior Accountant

**Job Summary:**
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the organization. You will be responsible for various accounting functions, including financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and assisting with audits. The Senior Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
3. Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
4. Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis, providing valuable insights to support financial decision-making.
5. Participate in year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors as required.
6. Maintain fixed asset records, calculating depreciation, and ensuring proper capitalization.
7. Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to provide financial guidance and support.
9. Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting principles and industry regulations.
10. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing processes.
11. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
3. In-depth knowledge of financial reporting and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems; experience with SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks is advantageous.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
6. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey financial information to stakeholders at various levels.
8. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and cross-functional setting.
9. High level of integrity and ethics, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
