The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the Company by performing G/L functions and supporting payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. This role is ideal for someone with a strong G/L background who values robust internal controls. who has This position will report directly to the Controller, Sr. Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close processes, including reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
• Manage the general accounting function, encompassing recording accrued compensation, Fixed Assets, Credit Cards, Bank Reconciliation, Sales and Use Tax, etc.
• Provide schedules and documentation to support external audits and tax consultants.
• Support and process payroll functions, as well as A/P functions.
• Participate in process improvements and financial system automation initiatives.
• Create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations, and implement reconciliation procedures.
• Undertake other assignments as required.

Required Skills:

• BS/BA in Accounting/Finance, CPA qualification is a plus.
• 5+ years of proven work experience in Payroll, A/P, and General ledger roles with high-growth medium-sized public companies in the high-tech industry.
• Experience with Trinet, NetSuite, and Bill.com preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing all essential duties.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and highly motivated/proactive.
• Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range:

• $110,000 - $155,000 a year
