Jones Stephens is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Senior Accountant.

Location: Position located in Moody, AL with a hybrid work schedule. Opportunity to sit in our South Bend, IN office also. Remote may be considered.

Overall Job Objective:

This position works in partnership with Finance, Operations, and Sales to manage and maintain the financial and accounting records for Jones Stephens.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the financial and accounting records
• Lead month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, rebates calculations, and adjusting entries
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and variances to provide insight into the company's financial performance
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Build financial reports to assist the business in key decision making
• Drive compliance with the internal control framework
• Analyze current processes and recommend improvement opportunities
• Build strong relationships with the business to ensure accurate financial statement reporting
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years Finance/Accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred, but not required
• Organized and detail-oriented with a strong ability to absorb and process information quickly
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrate the ability to foster strong relationships
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient financial analysis skills

Pay Range:

$5,175.00 - $9,716.30

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
