Hennion & Walsh is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for our growing company.

• Under the direction of the CFO, all day-to-day accounting responsibilities will be assumed by this position
• Organize and maintain data for payroll reports, and employee records
• Journal entries, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll Reconciliations, Maintain and balance General Ledger
• Preparation of all regulatory filings and audited financials
• Preparation of Daily Net Capital Computation, including Haircuts on securities
• Month End Accounting, GL reconciliation, Daily P&L, Balance Sheet Preparation
• Responsible for sales, admin and trading desk payroll and commission payouts
• Manage and maintain human resources data and portals
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and commission reports
• Payroll processing and administration
• Assist in managing Healthcare Program and 401(k) Program
• Maintain Accurate Bookkeeping by preparing and post accurate monthly journal entries, financial statements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 5 years hands-on accounting experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
