Senior Accountant

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

What you will do:

• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including sub-ledger postings, reconciliations, sub-ledger lockdown, GL posting, Fixed Assets accounting, Cash accounting, and corporate submissions.

• Analyze financial statements.

• Perform tasks related to the accounting cycle.

• Support the execution of activities for internal and external audit requirements.

• Collaborate with markets and local accounting teams to resolve discrepancies, issues, and queries related to accounting, escalating to the Lead Associate as needed.

• Assist the R2R Manager in identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices.

• Ensure a robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.

• Support the manager in reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations.

What you need:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts)

• Fluent spoken and written in English (85%)

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a finance/accounting role within a matrixed international company.

Preferred

• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or QAD systems

• Experience working in a shared service center within a global or large organization
