About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing our financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. The Senior Accountant supports the flow of daily accounting operations across the organization. You'll report directly to our VP, Finance.
How You'll Make An Impact

• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expense entries by compiling and analyzing bank activity, vendor invoices, expense reports and client contracts
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules on monthly/quarterly/annual basis for both internal and external users
• Perform monthly accruals, departmental allocations and intercompany transactions
• Analyze financial information to review and participate in month-end discussions
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Banking Activities and Reporting
  • Send a reconciled cash report to executive management daily
  • Set up ACH transactions and receipt payment runs in NetSuite
  • Cash application of receipts in NetSuite
  • Perform month end cash reconciliations
• Assist in annual audits by preparing documentation, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth annual audit process

What We're Looking For
Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 to 5 years of operational accounting experience, experience at SaaS or Professional Services companies strongly preferred
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of financial statements and GAAP
• Trustworthiness and the strong communication skills are both extremely important

Nice to Have:

• CPA is preferred but not required
• Netsuite is preferred but not required
• ASC 606 experience is preferred

• We are open to remote applicants for this position as long as you live in one of the states we are set up to do business in: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MI, NC, NJ, NY, NV, PA, TN, TX, VA, and WI
• Regardless of location in the US, this role will work Central hours (8:30 am - 5 pm Central time)
• Base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000, based on experience, with a 10% annual bonus opportunity
