Senior Accountant

As our Senior Accountant you will be responsible for assembling, consolidating, evaluating, interpreting and analyzing financial and accounting information.

Every day you will reconcile and adjust general ledger accounts, bank statements, and financial reports. You will alert management to financial issues and inconsistencies and provide solution alternative to moderately complex accounting problems. As the Senior Accountant you will also generate planning templates for use in Financial Planning and Analysis; compiles and evaluates fluctuations in projections and provides to management for consideration. To thrive in this role, you will have at least 2 years of accounting experience that will support your ability to handle corporate accounting, fixed and intangible assets, accounting with/for foreign subsidiaries and acquisition accounting.
 

Responsibilities:

• Conducts moderately complex accounting activities and participates heavily in monthly close process.
• Evaluates existing processes and reconciliations for improvement. Implements efficient solutions and necessary process changes as identified.
• Works on smaller elements of large, complex accounting projects. Leads smaller, less-complex accounting projects.
• Brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
• Works closely with company-wide departments to ensure accounting information is represented accurately and timely.
• Exercises sound business acumen and judgment. Understands the financial operations of departments, divisions, and business units supported.
• Works to ensure internal controls are executed in compliance with the Company’s SOX program.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience required, with public accounting experience preferred.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $52,972.00 - $66,215.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
