Job Description

The Senior Accountant position is responsible for a wide range of activities, including day-to-day accounting initiatives and a variety of financial analyses and special projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly close for operating entities.
• Includes various accruals (loan interest, bonus, commissions, invoices awaiting approval), various allocations (utilities, health & welfare, rent), amortization of prepaids, etc.
• Prepare and book journal entries.
• Monthly account reconciliation for inventory and other selected accounts.
• Assist in the setting and monitoring of standard costs, including labor and overhead rates.
• Monthly bank reconciliations for all entities (operating and payroll accounts).
• Assist with maintaining fixed asset schedules.
• Assist in preparation of key performance indicators and variance analysis.
• Assist with completing tax filings.
• Assist with the development and testing of new ERP system.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• Completion of training programs as assigned and/or required including standard of work.

Your Profile

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar.
• Minimum 3 Years of Accounting Experience.
• Active CPA license preferred.

Additional Skills & Abilities:

• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Superior MS Office skills (Excel).
• Attention to detail.
• Planning, organization, time management, and execution skills.
