Senior Accountant

Signifyd seeks a passionate, experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team. As a Senior Accountant you will have important interactions with our customers, vendors, and employees. You will perform critical functions that others rely on. You will find excitement and satisfaction as you see how your work helps the company grow. You will also have the ability to expand your knowledge and career as Singifyd expands internationally and faces more and more complex accounting issues. This role will report to our Corporate Controller.
Primary Responsibilities

• Onboard new customers and review customer contracts
• Assist the Corporate Controller in determining proper revenue recognition accounting for new customers and new contracts
• Help prepare prepare financial reports and analysis to be discussed with the CFO and other members of the executive management team
• Perform other Accounts Receivable duties as assigned
• Collect payments from customers and work with our Customer Service team to resolve billing/invoicing issues
• Perform customer account reconciliations
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Participate in the monthly/quarterly and annual close process to help insure the Company's financial statements are accurate and timely

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in accounting including experience with AR, AP, and the GL
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Experience with NetSuite required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, sumifs, and xlookups
• Positive attitude with a willingness to continually evaluate and improve processes
