Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt 
Level: Senior Associate

Compensation: Starting $80,000+, dependent on experience

We are building a new model of primary care for women 65+ to solve long-standing problems: rushed appointments, long wait times, and care that's generalized rather than specialized towards women’s needs later in life such as post-menopausal care, bone density, weight management, and mental, social and emotional well-being.  

Our patient-centric Primary Care clinics are dispersed across Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. We are thrilled to serve the Twin Cities metro in our clinics located in Highland Park (St. Paul), Crystal, and South Minneapolis and Rosedale, with our newest clinic in Eagan launching December 2024. About the Senior Accountant Role:  

Under the director of the Controller, this position will be responsible for month-end close journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, managing fixed assets, entering and coding AP invoices, processing AP payments, maintaining daily cash reports and assisting in treasury management. Analytical skills are required to identify variances and report discrepancies to supervisors.  

Location Requirements:

While a candidate located In Minnesota Is strongly preferred, we are open to candidates located and authorized to work In the United States.   

Essential Functions: 

  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliation files
  • Prepare recurring AP payment batches for review by the Controller
  • Enter and accurately code AP invoices
  • Reconcile multiple banking accounts
  • Update daily treasury reports
  • Manage fixed asset sub ledgers
  • Enter journal entries for month-end close and maintain recurring entries
  • Ad hoc reporting when requested by supervisors, tax specialists or auditors
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned 

Must-have Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proven experience in bank reconciliation and a strong familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Advanced analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and precision
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Authorized to work in the United States 

Nice-to-have Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Prior experience with Bill.com
  • Prior experience with Sage Intacct
