CO Salary Range: USD 75,000.00 - 85,000.00 per year

Senior Accountant position in West Denver, Colorado $75-85K

Our client is looking for a strong senior accountant to work alongside Accounting Manager. The Senior Accountant will join a small accounting team and be a key part of our success in handling the significant growth of the Company. This position allows for opportunity for career growth and additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities for the position include:

• Immediately assist in getting caught up on multiple audit requests
• Support Accounting Manager in creating account reconciliations, investigating unusual or unexpected account balances, account relationships and account flux explanations.
• Prepare schedules for year-end audits of various entities and respond to audit related inquiries.
• Research and resolve account reconciliation discrepancies and provide suggestions to proactively remedy discrepancies in the future.
• Prepares or assists with the preparation of external and internal ad hoc financial and accounting report requests.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a background in public accounting/audit
• Strong Excel including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
• Ability to pivot quickly and be well organized
