Senior Accountant

Modivcare is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant who is responsible for applying principles of accounting using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory reporting and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) guidance to perform accounting assignment.
You will...

• Review new and amended client contracts for completeness and accuracy. Complete an ASC606 template to document changes impacting revenue recognition. Setup and confirm the accuracy and completeness of the revenue calculation.
• Review and analyze daily cash receipts reports to track revenues & members by contract.
• Prepare/Review monthly revenue calculations.
• Prepare and review monthly revenue journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in preparing for quarterly reviews and annual audits, including adherence to timelines, assisting in the resolution of audit issues, providing information to the auditors as necessary.
• Issue accurate monthly/quarterly revenue reports.
• Assist revenue team in various projects which help better assess financial information.
• Become a key contact person to review revenue actual vs. budget trends and contract amendments that affect future revenues by contract.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Analyze revenue processes and develop more efficient and effective procedures where necessary.
• Other duties as assigned, per business requirements, as it applies to the lead senior role.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
• 5+ years of similar experience
• CPA preferred.
• Highly proficient with MS Excel
• Proactive working style
• Excellent understanding of debits and credits
• Experience with Workday Financials is preferred but not required

Salary: $69,900 - $94,400
