Senior Accountant

Position Summary: The Senior Accountant position is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely accounting for Hirschi Companies. Essential Job Responsibilities • Bank reconciliations and various treasury functions, including cash flow management between various bank accounts and entities. • Bank deposits, accurate applications of deposits made, bank issue uploads and approvals. • Tax compliance payments and management. • Maintenance of various spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis of various expenses. • Assist in preparation of audit work papers for year-end audits with outside auditors. • Assist in executing company internal control policies and procedures. • Carryout additional tasks as assigned by the Controller and VP of Finance. Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements: • Must have at least 2-4 years of direct work experience as an accountant, public or private industry. • Must have a sound understanding of financial reporting. • Detail oriented and demonstrates a “can-do” positive attitude. • Must possess excellent communication and organization skills. • Must have a BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other type of related field of study. • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office products • CPA Preferred • Pass mandatory drug test and background check.
