Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Location: North Bergen, NJ Hours: From 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Compensation: Based upon experience and qualifications, between $75,000.00 -$80,000.00 per year Direct hire with benefits . Bachelor’s degree in accounting required with minimum five (5) years of experience in the field of accounting Proficient with accounting software, Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to interact with team members, vendors, customers and senior management. Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail, strong math skills with high degree of accuracy Capable of analyzing financial data and preparing reports on a timely basis Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines A team player with the ability to work independently Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Supervise Accounts Payable staff accountant Review and analyze Landlord invoices for approval, communicate directly with landlords, analyze building expenses, including real estate taxes Review payroll entries from Paylocity Payroll Service Approve monthly bank reconciliations for Operating, Payroll and Money Market accounts Prepare assigned workpapers for monthly financial closing Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements Review monthly analyses of solar electric energy usage and cost for three CA warehouses Review large vendor invoices, approve payable vouchers prior to data entry by staff accountant Assist with other A/P functions as necessary Additional responsibilities as requested by Controller or Chief Financial Officer Submit your resume for consideration.
