Job Summary:Responsibilities include preparation of month-end close / GL accounting transactions which include: cost allocation, monthly revenue, fixed assets, debt, and derivatives. Responsibilities: • Managethe fixed asset and WIP subledgersincluding running and verifying depreciation • Setup, monitor and account for reimbursableconstruction projects • Develop and managecapital accrualprocess; develop and review monthly capital reporting schedules • Track asset capitalization and coordinate with fixed asset accounting for timely capitalization of completed projects. • Review and process construction invoices, change orders, retainage, and progress billings. • Maintain and reconcileright of way lease and land purchasesmonthly • Manage monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and perform initial review of G/L Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration • CPA or CPA eligible preferred • 3-5 years relevant work experience public accounting/industry mix or industry experience in construction or energy • Experience with fixed asset accountingExperienced in accounting and reporting for M&A and/or multi-entity companies • #GAAP #PublicAccounting #Energy #Construction #Oil #RenewableEnergy #rapidgrowth #ATX #AustinJobs #accounting #LI-AB2 #INAUG2025
